Human rights training

Asia Cement places great emphasis on human rights protection and workplace equality. In 2024, the Company promoted company-wide human rights education and training by utilizing expert course videos from the Ministry of Labor to advocate “labor
rights” and “gender equality in employment.” The training materials were made publicly available for all employees to access online. Additionally, specialized training sessions were conducted for managerial personnel to deepen their professional understanding of human rights and gender equality issues, strengthen their ability to identify potential risks, communicate effectively, and manage these issues. This helps build an internal safeguard mechanism for early reporting, incident response, and system improvement, ensuring timely intervention and proper handling, thereby enhancing managers’ capacity to control human rights risks and fulfilling the Company’s commitment to human rights and social responsibility.
