Asia Cement began an industry-academic collaboration with Yuan Ze University in 2018 to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) theory and enhance learning and deep learning algorithms. The original control systems were upgraded into the ACTEC AI Control System, under the “Cement 4.0” initiative. With the support of FarEasTone Telecommunications, a group affiliate, IT infrastructure and data analytics platforms were established and applied across various IoT applications, laying the groundwork for a smart factory.

In 2024, Asia Cement entered into an "AI for All" industry-academia collaboration agreement with Tamkang University. Under this partnership, Tamkang University will provide tailored AI training programs for Asia Cement and its affiliated companies,
aiming to cultivate AI literacy across all employees. Through this initiative, the company seeks to empower its workforce with AI capabilities and enhance overall operational quality.
